AH Design Development Limited, AHD+D Ltd, was set up to offer creative commercial design consultancy services and develop product design concepts specifically for manufacture, primarily in the fields of modular furniture, lighting, and structures.

Considerable experience has been obtained whilst working with architectural practices and design companies carrying out all sizes of projects. Design of interiors, furniture, lighting, integration of technical services, space planning and project strategy have all been part of this expertise, which has been gained over more than 20 years.

Quantum-p The high performance Quantum range of fluorescent lights, which were designed and conceived by AHD+D have been installed and specified in offices and Higher Education projects




Concept objectives

	To create a truly demountable kitchen system, with the ability for it to be extended or re-configured, assembled from a basic kit of parts. The design of the system would enable the kitchen to be relocated and moved without having to be left or just scrapped.
	The system should be able to adapt and be completely re-configured or moved to accommodated both dynamic business needs and domestic lifestyle changes.
	Where possible materials have been selected for the framework, worktops, and cabinets for their ability to be recycled and re-used.
	Barbeam Kitchen System Concept has been designed, developed, and now is being manufactured by AHD+D Ltd.
